Trans is slipping or feels almost like it popping when accelerating. But when I disengage the all wheel drive it doesn’t do it as bad. What could this be?

Any fault codes stored?

A full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan would shown faults stored in the transmission.

Does a 2010 A4 have Haldex or Torsen?

It will not have a Haldex. They are (almost) exclusively for transverse engine configuration. 2010 is also getting very close to when they dropped a true TorSen in favour of that electronically controlled, multi-plate 'thing'. (spit...)

At least some of the later longitudinal engines Audis including A4s (2016 onwards) switched to Haldex in order to reduce emissions, see https://jalopnik.com/audis-high-tech-new-quattro-is-about-to-piss-off-its-bi-1760502139

So that means OPs A4 will have Torsen, so IMHO the comment:
when I disengage the all wheel drive[/QUOTE]
isn't do-able without mechanical disconnection? That's why I was asking the question...
