In this post, they were able to have the Start/Stop button to remember its last setting and to inverse the button LED status.

Stop Start button Settings
[09 – Cent. Elect.]
[Security Access – 16]
Enter code given, 20113, [Do It!]

[Adaption – 10]
Channel 34 [Read]
Read Default value
Add 32 for ‘remember last setting’
Add 64 to Reverse the LED status, so light = Stop Start Active (Default is light = Stop Start Off)
Subtract 4 to ‘default to Off’

Anyone know if something similar exist for the B9 version?

No.

B9 only "supports" completely-off using some Auto HVAC parameter

It also support changing the Start/stop start voltage limit.

However, I would prefer to recode the button.

Something which the B9 platform doesn't support - so you only have three options:
1) leaving stop/start as it is
2) disabling stop/start using the voltage or HVAC methods
3) fitting a switch that remembers the stop/start state and if needed auto presses the stop/start button when you turn the ignition on to disable it - easy to find on eBay.
