Hi Folks,
I replaced both of my fuel pumps and filter a month ago and bought VCDS and was able to prime both pumps and get the car going. I filled the tank twice and smelled gas both times. In an effort to fix the issue, i wanted to clean the o-ring and lube it with silicone, but it went wrong. I had too much gas in the tank and it leaked, I then just tightened the lid and cleaned up the mess ... I did not prime the pumps.
I drove to work the next day - 10 miles - all was well ... On the way home, I had a misfire.
Well, I can find where to prime to fuel pump in the tank in the rear, but I can't find the option to prime the high pressure fuel pump up front. Where is it!?! Where is this in the menus?
Also, I replaced the door lock with a new one from China and the alarm stopped working. I have a used OEM replacement, and that will fix that error. I also replaced a broken rear window and the glass break sensor is not connected.
