Working on my TREG today for a few issues, I decided to look after that one:

00488 - Rear Right Outside Door Handle Central Locking Button (E372) 
            007 - Short to Ground

I dismounted that right rear door and tested for the switch. No issue there.

I found out if I remove the big plug from the window motor, it removes the code.

Seems like this plug connect to another controller made with the windows motor. What may I do next?

The right rear exterior door handle central locking button (E372) looks to be a simple normally open switch. With the right rear door handle, there will be 5 wires:

/1 = 0.5 br to J389 T12o/7
/3 = 0.5 gr/br to J389 T12o/10

Is the switch sticking? Is the wiring shorted to ground?

46-08-009.4 shows live data of the E372.
46-08-008.4 shows live data of the left rear exterior door handle (E371) to use as a base line value from a "known good" source.

What kind of data do you get in groups 008 and 009 as you operate and release those exterior door handle buttons? What data do you get as you unplug the right rear door handles?

Lock, unlock from inside is same on both door for the results. NBoth 2 things are different:

Also when I opush that botton on rear left or front right, I hear a relay under the stearing wheel, and I dont ear it on my rear right botton. So I'm going to test more directly for that switch.

I always had issue unlocking and opening the rear left door, maybe it's related?

I removed extenral door handle and I kinda broken the switch, removing the bottom mecanism, error still stay, because I suppose of the short to ground somewhere else.

I do not find the wiring diagram of this. anybody knows what wires I could cut to remove the external switch connection?

5 of them goes to the handle.

The way the wiring diagram shows this, the E372 is a simple "normally open" switch, when activated, /1 and /3 are shorted together.
The current live data implies /1 and /3 are shorted together, thus the E372 is "Activated".

46-08-009.4, does the data change if you unplug the wiring harness from the exterior door handle?
With the right rear door handle unplugged, ohm test /1 and /3 of the door handle, what is the value?

It seems indeed it was like you described. I mean, it was shorted activated. I was not too sure which wire was doing what, because it seems the plug going from the window motor controller to the door handle has wires serving other purpose than the door handle. I think I fixed it. I tried disconnecting wire one by one and test. I think I disconnected the one which is #3 on your diagram. After clearing DTCs, I do not see an error anymore!

The door control module isn't involved here... at least as the wiring diagram shows it. The E372 is part of the right rear exterior door handle and none of the wiring from the exterior door handle goes to the door control module (power window motor). As the crapping wiring diagram shows, the E372 switch goes to the CCM (J389).

Maybe the wire that comes off /1 is shorting to ground (chassis) and in wiggling/moving the wiring around, you fixed the issue for now. :confused:

Disconnect plug coming from handle completely, there is an antenna and button for locking, if you unplug it it should still work. I've unplugged mine from all 4 doors to make sure it doesnt work, also there is a menu option to disable auto unlock in the main mfd

OK. Weird. The wires from the second plug are going into the door at the same location (inside) where the door handle is. That's why I was directed to this one in my tests.
