Hello,

Was wondering if anyone was able to disable the 'at seped' warnings for Phone and NAV?

Also has anyone figured out how to turn off the 'lights are on' warning when you open the door?

Thanks.

Take a look at the adaptation channels on controller 5F - on my car it was channels 2 & 3, setting them to their max (250). A8 may be different, but I'd bet VCDS has a nice map for that unit already :D

Please document the findings Lazydog.

We're crazy light on tweaks for the D4 and have to rely on the courtesy of our C7 brethren for hints :)
Was hopeful xradman would find more for us, but he's been MIA for some time.

Sorry, I thought this was pretty well known - for my 5F at least:
Code:
Address 5F: Information Electr. (J794) Labels: 4E0-035-6xx-5F.clb
   Part No SW: 4G0 035 746 F HW: 4G0 035 746 E
   Component: H-BNT-NA H41 0757

It's channels 02 & 03. 02 is "Speed Threshold (CAR-Menu)" defaults to 15, 03 is "Speed Delta (CAR-Menu)" defaults to 10. Seems like at the Threshold the menu gets disabled (or nagware pops up) then at (Threshold-Delta) it gets re-enabled (nagware stops). The tweak as it was presented to me was to put both at 250 and that's worked in my car - no more nagware about entering data while moving. Units appears to be kph.

HTH,
Richard
