When looking further into the oode, the 20 times of failed restarting has been exceeded, and it will not allow the car to start , can the key (counter) be reset.

So I checked all basics, and the one 0955 code can not be cleared my concern was if the car has to go to the dealership just to check out the key. Is there any test or adaption/coding I could do with VCDS before last resort

I understand that the lights will fit from a 2008 onto a 2007 . My question is will they work correctly without having a fault code or dash light?

After I post a full scan of any of the cars I am working on , what is the next step in understanding all the fault codes. and finding out where to start ? If the car has multiple codes do i ask about one or can I get help on the best direction to go?
