Black RVC After New Install and MIB2 Retrofit - MK6.5 GLI

I have a 2015 VW Jetta GLI, I previously had an RNS315 with RVC from factory. The RVC stopped working and I needed a new one. I decided to go with the MIB2 retrofit with uodated RVC from Eurozone. The radio works fine without issue. However the RVC isn't working. I will sometimes get the camera to turn on but after a few seconds it goes black. Once I come out of reverse there is a message saying ParkPilot is unavailable. Per the vendor, I have confirmed that all pdc/park assist/park pilot settings I could find in 5f were already disabled. So the message doesn't make sense to me. Any ideas?

Another nagging issue is the phone menu in MFI. The built-in bluetooth of the MIB2 seems to be conflicting with the in-car bluetooth module (understandably). I was told to disable unit 77, which I unchecked from the installation list, but the unit still appears. Is there a way to disable this in VCDS without disconnecting the physical unit?

I've been troubleshooting and so far this is what I've found.

• If I clear out the codes in 5F and restart the car the camera will turn on the first time when putting it in reverse. I tried just rebooting the radio, but that seems less likely to work.
• It'll again go to a black screen after a few seconds and ultimately display the "Park Pilot is Not Available" message.
• The camera will not turn back on until I repeat the process of clearing the codes and restarting the car. However, it doesn't always work the first try.

So I think it's either I'm missing something related to Park Pilot in VCDS that is enabled for some reason or perhaps something in the radio itself is coded to look for the signal (idk if that seems logical though).

The RVC does not show up on the scan, which means its a lowline RVC that is directly connected to the MIB unit, in which case it needs to be enabled in the coding of 5F. Has that been done?

Yeah, the car came factory with a lowline so it was already enabled.

You need to disable Park assist in the adaptation channels:

Curious, could this possibly be power related or something disupting the camera signal? The install instructions said to tap into the blue wire going to the tail light which I did. At this point I have gone through and enabled and disabled each PDC adaption one by one. The VPS adaptions are the only ones that has any impact on the behavior - if I set to activated / databus infotainment it prevents the cam from engaging (displaying a black screen) when going into reverse. Either way the PDC not available message pops up aftee the black screen. The pdc message is confusing but I'm starting to think this isn't coding related and more so an issue with the signal.
