Hello,

You have two fault codes in the Engine controller that are the same code, P0299-Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached.

I would recommend to have a look at the Volkswagen Technical Bulletin linked on the bottom of the Ross-Tech wiki page we have for this fault code, see below:

ref: TSB [21 14 03] "Engine Lacks Performance, Engine Warning Light ON, DTCs P2563, P2564, P0299 or P20D8 Stored in ECM
Fault Memory"

If the above does not help, you may need to start looking into the Turbo's boost control systems...

We recommend the Official Factory Repair Information when working on these vehicles.

Thanks for the reply,

Upon looking at that bulletin, that exhaust valve was deleted along with DPF components. The vehicle has been like this for a while with no issues. I have ordered a MAP, hoping to be the case… i also havent seen plumes of smoke coming from exhaust indicated a blown turbo, but i could be wrong. Hoping not.
