Lately I obtained a 2017 (Facelift model) VW UP! 55kW 3-doors.
After a crash were both front airbags deployed I managed to reset the #44 steering controlller back to Factory settings. So power steering works again.

Also new airbags are in, everything reset - no errors there.

I had to recode #44 again (from 0003000 to 000700) but that was no problem since a had a backup ;-)
But now I am stuck and could not find my situation here in this forum explained.
I cannot calibrate the steering angle. When steering is straight, it shows valueas around 400 (!)degrees. I read the Steering Angle Senor: Raw Value
As if I am one turn off. But I never did any mechanical work on the steering system, car drives normally.
I think 400 is too much to calibrate.( I know that on a Audi A3 8P I was able to calibrate only if raw data was between -5 and + 5 degrees)
What am I missing here? What should / can I do to start the calibrating process?
(as this is my first post ever ... I hope to get better at this. Any input welcome)
