Passenger window one touch

Hi guys I have an a3 2007 5 door.
After fitting puddle lights and finding out the guide I was using was for the 2008 up and there was a wire change.
I found out my passenger window one touch will not work also the one touch on key a long with using the key in the door to open and close the windows.
I went back to my original auto scan still can't work it out.
Am new to this so forgive me for being stupid.

Have you done the basic setting for the window?

Procedure :
1. Make sure that the window is fully closed
2. Press and hold window down and keep pressing it for 5 secs after the window has been completely lowered
3. Press and hold window up and keep it pressed for 5 secs after the windows has been completely raised

Basic setting for the door control module teached and the one touch should work again.

Looks like your rear door module is going bad. Does not affect the one touch function however.

Did you get that one sorted out by doing the basic setting?

I went back to original coding and still no joy.
How ever I was trying wire the puddle lights into pin 1 and 2 on the grey plug when on my car it was pin 18 and 19.

Nope, that does not work. If you release the button too soon, basic setting is cancelled. At least on MK5 and MK6 platforms. MQB I've not had to do it so don't know if it's different there.

Just for clarification. On which door was this? Passenger front door?

Are you sure pins 18 and 19 are correct? Did you already have something connected to pins 1 and 2? On drivers side pin2 should have brown earth wire connected to it.

Edit :

Seems that it could be either one

Pin 1 & 2 or Pin 18 & 19.

If you have multimeter you should be able to measure pin 18 after you've enabled puddle lights on the door control module using VCDS.

On the MQB platform you have to repeat the press & hold several times not just once.

its the passenger front door and i no how to do basic settings on the one touch.
i had to do this for all 4 plenty of time's before.
its deffo pin 18 for the feed and 19 earth thats 110% then after 2007 they changed to pin 1 for feed and pin 2 for earth.

does anyone no what pin 1 and 2 are for ? on a 2007 audi a3 ?.
