Doubt about installing

Hello, I'm new here, and I'm about to buy a hex-net

Before doing anything i wanted to install the VCDS, but I have a doubt

I have on the laptop Windows 11, the latest compilation version available, 22621.2361

My question is: for a better performance or less problems between software and hardware, the check "Fix Windows HID power mgmt for HN and HV2" should be ticked or unticked?, because windows 10 and windows 11 are almost the same, I get that doubt

Yea, I'm on it, but as I said I didnt buy a unit yet, but my question is about installation, that checkmark should be ticked or not?

Personally, I always leave it at default... and I've never had a problem.

Almost, but not quite.

Did you read the installation instructions?

Fix Window HID power management: is only available if the installer is run on Windows 8.1 or Window 10, where it is selected by default. It is required for the HEX-NET and HEX-V2 interface to communicate reliably via USB on systems running Windows 8.1 or or 10.

This option is only for Windows 8.1 or 10. It is not available or needed on Windows 11.
