2014 Jetta TDI - INSPEC and SRI

I recently did a service on my 2014 Jetta TDI and reset the SRI through VCDS. I now have two service intervals, and can only reset the first one. When I reset it following the instructions in the manual, it works, however there is still a second service interval reminder that flashes every time I start the car. There is a small "1" in the corner when I am on the first SRI, and a small "2" when the INSPEC message comes up reminding me it requires a service.

Would the dealer have set a separate reminder? Any idea how to reset or delete the second reminder?

Assuming you've done whatever your service booklet specifies should be done every 30,000 km, try putting 0 in there.

As you can see it seems like there are two service intervals set up. The one I reset with VCDS to 15,000 km, its now down to 11,000. The other one is now negative as it shows I am over, note the small "2" beside it.

It looks like the Distance and Time based Service scheme so this A6 page may be helpful:

At some point please try resetting all 3 channels:

1) ESI: Resetting ESI
2) FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection
3) FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection

.. and check to see if either ESI: Time from inspection and ESI: Distance driven from inspection channel happen to zero after a key cycle. If they do not zero out please let us know if entering a new value of 0 in each of those resolves this.

Edit. I missed that update but make sure all 3 resets were completed so you don't have to deal with that anytime soon

Yeah Uwe, we would have been guessing for a while without it

I assumed London was RoW but that is a Canadian market car using what I would describe as a RoW service scheme! Build date of 14.08.2013 so it is new but it wasn't built yesterday so we are going to see more of these inquiries real soon.

Update. After further research I added the additional steps to the Mk6 Golf chassis cluster page.

The PR codes from this Canadian (km) VIN are:
Service indicator QI4 Service indicator 15000 km or 1 year ( fix )
Service interval prolongation QG0 Without service interval prolongation

The PR Codes from a 2014 US (mile) VIN with similar control module map channels are:
Service indicator QI7 Service indicator ( 10000 miles )
Service interval prolongation QG0 Without service interval prolongation
