Hi Guys
Just taken delivery of a new (facelift) A6 Avant S-Line Ultra with tech pack and a few little extras.
The car has an electric opening tailgate and I'd like to be able to close it with the key rather than just the button on the tailgate.
I've posted the following in the A6-C7 forum but have not yet had a response:
"Picked up my new FL Avant Ultra a few days ago. Overall very pleased. Used VCDS successfully for the following tweaks:
1.Enabling Gauge Test/Needle Sweep
2. Enabling Lap Timer
4. Beep on lock
15. Enable auto handbrake when shift into P
Also tried:
16. Close electric boot lid from key

Click on byte 2, bit 2
Tick Comfort operation: Remote control active

Unfortunately this one didn't work for me. In fact the factory delivered settings were already exactly the same as the tweak. Using VCDS output tests I was able to close the boot with the software but not with the remote key. So it's obviously possible.
Any ideas please anyone. Has anyone else got it working with anew FL model,
