Hi all.
We have a T5 Longwheel base multivan here, it has been standing about a year while the owner fitted a kitchen etc, It had a Vw cam kit fitted just before and all was well. It was scanned at vw, but no mill light on then,, must of been same issue,

I scanned it today as no power etc and mill light on,, here is the full autoscan, some faults maybe just because battery went flat or they had been disconnected.
My concern is the engine faults, except glow plugs.
Is there any MVB i can use to check the AFM and does anyone know what group and what should the Afm be Reading at Idle,, approx at 50% throttle and 100% throttle full load, also any info so i can check the Exhaust pressure sensor, and same for the Boost pressure sensor. It may have a Dpf problem not sensor? Not had a look at anything yet only a scan.

Standing for a year? First thing I'd do is charge (or maybe replace) the battery, then clear all fault codes and see what comes back.

As for engine parameters, Advanced Measuring Values is your friend; it gives you a list of everything that's documented. But FWIW, mass airflow is in MVB 010,1 and if you hover your cursor over the value being displayed, you should get specs both for idle and full load.

I think the battery is new and another for the kitchen stuff, i will check it anyway,, what is FWIW ,, I have not yet used advanced measuring Values only the regular mvb, i had a tour of vcds by ross tech, and can see a table Description with items that can be checked to view, and data log, in the table what is loc is it the group number, By the scan posted do you know what engine code this vehicle will be, i think the engine is 2.5L I will be speaking to the owner on the weekend. I saved and cleared the DTC's yesterday,

Is there any info for the DPF regen,

Yes, in pre-UDS control modules that still support the classic Measuring Blocks (like the ECU in question here), the 'Location' shown in Advanced Measuring Values is the Group and Field number where you would find the same value in Measuring Blocks.

In newer modules that use the UDS protocol, the 'Location' is an arbitrary number.

The battery is New,, I used vcds today and logged AFM, BOOST PRESSURE, Egr valve. rpm.

Afm mvb 010.1 at idle 300 mg/str. specification is between 180/280 mg/str so at idle all good, Rpm Raised to 3500,, was 665 mg/str spec, at full load is 990 mg/str, no driven load only rpm raised,

Boost pressure Actual 1305 M/bar specified says 1142 M/bar dont know if different due to logging time of parameters as mainly a quick blip of the gas pedal, Duty cycle of boost control valve at 800 rpm 75.4%, at 2400 rpm 50%, Egr valve specified 985 mg/str, Actual 650 mg/str ,

DPF partical filter load coefficient, was 20.9% the info says above 15% The auto regeneration will start,, Above 90 and No regen, fire hazard, So i assume the Dpf is not blocked, When i see the owner at weekend, i will get him to drive the van and i will data log the listed parameters so they are under load. and see if any Faults come back.
No engine management (emmission light ) On, I cant see when i put the ignition on quickly the pdf light,, only the other warning lights, I may read the ecu to see if it has been remapped ( tuned ) What do you think of the readings i have listed,
