Hi am new to this forum and English is not my first Language so kindly bear with me.
I have issues with my automatic transmission the Famous ‘09G’. I have replaced the valve body with the remanufactured one, changed the both In Put and Out speed sensors and cleared all the error codes, after that R and D engage smoothly and drives till 3rd gear when it engages the forth 4th Gear it goes into Neutral. After several Investigation and tinkering in VCDS realized in the Engine Module>> Code 7>> Engine control Module (J6623) coding . code 3= 4-Speed Automatic Transmission, Code 5= 6 speed automatic Transmission. I have 6 Speed (O9G) but Engine control Module (J6623) coding show that I have 4 speed Auto Transmission I tried changing codes from 3 to 5 to match the Transmission with Engine control Module coding I get error “coding rejected Error 31 request out of range” I have some screenshots from VCDS if the can be of help.
