Okay, no rear brake code repopulated after clearing it yesterday, but the light persists. My brother insists that the brake light came when he did the rears, but now I wonder if the light coming on prompting him to do the rears was actually for an error on the front. No way to be sure. Did find a couple of trouble codes in other modules that concern me a little, though.

Circle with half moons

Yellow usually means pads and red brake fluid, switches.

I thought solid half moons was brake fluid and broken half moons as in the image was pad wear?

It might be but here usually is yellow for pads and red for fluids that is why I ref both.

Never can tell with tricky Germans or that would hook up an F250 Diesel exhaust pipe to a Monkeys cage & while watching Woody Wood Pecker cartoons!
