Cayenne / Touareg 2006 09-Central Electronics Module update

Hey guys,
I'd like to update Central Electronics Module (J519) in my 2006 Porsche Cayenne. Currently I have 7L5 937 049 D installed, but it's equipped with not so much additional funcions. I actually activated Coming/Leaving Home function only. I'd like to activate functions such as: Ambient Lighting, Emergency Light Flashing, Fog lights as DLR and more and more.

Could anyone help me in choosing the correct J519 module? I can find list of modules for Golf/Touran with descriptions of serial numbers (I mean letter at the end), but I can't compare them with Touareg. Electric diagrams in Touareg are the same like in Cayenne, so everything should fit.

That's not an Auto-Scan it's just a list of modules - we need the whole UNEDITED log file.

It's impossible for Cayenne by using VCDS. I chose Touareg 2003-2006 from the Chassis Type list, but this is still not all equipment in my car..

Open Autoscan.txt file in \Ross-Tech\VCDS
Remove ";" in front of "9P,Porsche....etc." (bottom of the file).
Save file.
Start VCDS > make Autoscan > Choose: 9P

Thanks for the complete scan. It looks like you purchased VCDS from a Dist. Please register for support so we can change your forum account to a Verified user and move this to the Retrofits sub-forum. http://www.ross-tech.com/vca/hex-com-reg.php

I'm not entirely sure about those Porsche part numbers but "7L5 937 049 D" isn't in a search of PL24 by VIN. When I got to Illustration 901-03 it shows "955 618 027 10" Control unit Vehicle Electrical System and that looks like a J519 unit to me. Hopefully someone else can add clarity.

I have VCDS Pro from your distributor PCI Diagnosetechnik GmbH & Co. KG

955 618 027 10 is comming from Porsche Parts Catalog. The same situation is with another parts in Cayenne used in Touareg as well - the same part in Porsche has another "Porsche" number than in VW. According to ETKA I can use 7L5 937 049 N, but I have to be sure exactly, because there are different "software" inside Control Unit and I'd like to have a lot of new options to activate so that's I'm asking You.

Anyway I don't have Certificate Number and label on interface is replaced with distributor's label so I don't have Short Serial Number.

What's on the other side of that interface? Isn't there a label there with a "number" that starts with "AVT.."? That's your certificate number.

You don't need it. You only need two of the three things in that section of the form. Certificate number and Long Serial (from VCDS About screen) are sufficient.
