Hi,

My Audi A4 1.8T (B7) has an intermittent issue. One day it drives very good as it should but the next day the ESP light comes on and stays on resulting in power loss/no boost. Sometimes when I start it, it will idle very badly. The engine will struggle and rev counter needle will keep dropping below 1000 rpm. Yesterday, the ABS and EPC light also came on. ESP refers to engine for DTCs.

And it seems like half your autoscan is missing?

hi, it is important on that car to clean all connectors from the throttle body to ecu.so before getting too deep, #1 buy a good electric parts cleaner, #2 disconnect your battery before unplugging any connector,#3 I would focus on throttle body connector and ecu connector., spray both sides of connector with cleaner let dry and plug back in. the ecu will be a part tricky to get to. a couple of videos on YouTube will show how to access ecu. I'm audi4ever my post is down below. those were my to symptoms but I did get every other code to follow. 3 months dealing with mine crazy.just over a bad connection. good luck just remember to undo your battery before unpugging anything .cool?
