Hello all
I wanted to try and tweak some of the settings for my matrix lights activation or find out if its even possible. I did seem to find some information on changing the high beam assist which referenced these adaptions in the A5 module (or 55 which I don't have)
Activation speed for high beam assistant
Speed threshold for high beam recommendation off
Night vehicle detection activation brightness 3 lx
Night vehicle detection deactivation brightness 20 lx
Main_Beam_Assist_Urban_Area_Detection On
Urban_Leaving_Velocity 255 km/h
However these adaptions are not in my A5 module. I can only assume this is because I have matrix lights and these settings are somewhere else... but I have no idea where they are, or if they even exist.
At the moment, the matrix auto high beams will ONLY turn on when its dark, has 1 or 2 streetlights visible and I am travelling approximate 60km/h or faster. It will disengage when you drop below 40km/h. I would much prefer it to come on with more light sources, and about half the speed.
I found some data to read in the A5 module - Loc IDE09436 (Recognized street illumination)... the matrix lights would only activate when this data was coming back as "no streetlight"... otherwise it was displaying "more than one streetlight" and they weren't turning on.
I understand that matrix lights aren't allowed in the USA so this might be a problem that you don't care about, but hopefully someone, somewhere can help me. Have attached an autoscan which is pretty much factory... I did a few things like enabling oil temp in MMI
