Check whether all control modules are coded for LHD/automatic transmission? Like engine, gateway, CECM, whatever you can find?

I've been communicating with someone form Lithuania on DigitalKaos about the ABS coding. They think I may have to switch out the ABS unit once again ... because of the coding issues.
He suggested a 1KO 907 379 BJ (a MK60EC1 unit) ... as opposed to the 1K0 907 379 AC (MK60) unit that's now installed. If I exhaust all my possible coding options with this present ABS unit ... I may have to go that way.
I also just replaced the thermostat today, I was getting an occasional "008577 - Performance Malfunction in Cooling System P2181 - 008 - - Intermittent" fault. It was kind of a pain! ... you've got to remove the entire intake manifold/throttle body to get to it!

While I've been in the process of trying to get a working ABS/ESP system in this car ... I've been driving it almost every day to get all the "bugs" out of this conversion.
I've got about 1500 miles on the car so far, and from the beginning, I've had a problem of high transmission shift points even under light throttle (2500 to 3500 RPM) ... but only when the engine is completely cold in the morning ... and only for the first 3 minutes of driving. After researching a bunch of options (wrong transmission fluid? ... fluid level incorrect? ... different codings?) ... I finally came to the conclusion that the original Passat 2.0t Transmission Control Module may not be ideally suited to the 2.5L engine.
I purchased a 2011-14 VW Jetta 2.5L TCM Part Number: 09G 927 750 LF ... $14.24 on eBay. I was concerned because I didn't have transmission wiring diagrams for the 2011-14 Jetta ... and was really hoping that VW hadn't changed the pinout locations from the 2007 Passat/Jetta.
I installed it late Saturday ... then ran a VCDS scan. It coded fine and the CANbus recognized it. I took a drive and immediately noticed a difference ... firmer shifts ... and shifting at a lower RPM (about 1500 to 2500 RPM under light throttle). The true test was Sunday morning ... when everything was cold ... it shifted MUCH better! No high shift points anymore!
Since the shift points are lower, it should improve gas mileage (presently, I was getting as much as 32MPG on the highway according to the on-board computer). The other advantage of this engine is ... it only uses 87 Octane gas!
So I guess I'll have to add the TCM to the list of 2.5L Jetta parts you'll need to do this swap (if anyone's still interested after all this trouble!).

On Tuesday I checked various modules for Transmission and LHD incorrect coding. I found that Central Conv. was incorrectly coded for Manual Transmission rather than Automatic Transmission (although there were no fault codes) ... but it didn't seem to make any difference with my ABS problem, I've still got the same ABS faults.
I couldn't find any other instances of incorrect coding.

It pre-supposes that the ABS cares what phyiscal module the VIN comes from. Fact is your car has an Immo that knows the VIN. Does it really matter that 25 is actually in 46 as opposed to the more common 17? TBH, I don't know. You're in uncharted territory with much of this.

if you remove cluster from a golf 5,6 and put a new one instead or just replace it, ABS will loose it's coding, so judging from that I think that it won't allow to code it, missing message etc... but as Uwe as it's uncharted territory anything can happen

I wonder what would happen, if you used the MK60 ABS with a trans ECU from a matching car?
If your ABS was looking for a 2005/06 TCU (when MK60's were used), the 2010/11 one might confuse it. The MK60 doesn't care about VINs... they're pretty basic.
The MK60 4motion unit in my car is from a DSG R32 golf - changing the engine ECU to a manual version trans stopped it from looking for the TCU and reporting the TCU missing error (car was converted to manual).
Your later TCU may just confuse it???

If Euro Golfs, I think the change from MK60 to the EC1 version was made in the 2007 model year - most 2007 Golfs seem to be Immo4C and MK60EC1.

I just checked the Transmission Control Module wiring for both the B6 Passat (I have a spare 2008 Passat B6 TCM Plug) ... and the 2007 (July) and newer Jetta (Bentley wiring diagrams) ... and they're identical, both in number of wires and pin outs. That would tell me that apparently, there's no difference in the TCM wiring, regardless of the ABS Module used, whether MK60, MK60EC1, or ESP 440 C2 (Passat).
The TCM wiring is also identical WITHIN the Jetta line ... whether 2.0t, 2.5L, or Diesel engines.
TCM's may be different in shift programming for different engines (that's why TCM part numbers are different) ... but how they work electrically apparently is the same.
I'll continue to check into this though.
BTW, we're not having much luck in coding the MK60EC1 so far ... haven't had ANY of the codes accepted yet: "Coding Rejected Error 31: Request out of range".

There's a 2008 2.5 Jetta at the Pull-a-Part in Akron ... I might just get the Transmission Control Module ... and the CANbus (it looks identical to the Passat CANbus except it's a 1K0 instead of 3C0 part number). Pull-a-Part has a policy that you can return parts for full store credit, no questions asked.
Maybe I can get the Passat to THINK it's a Jetta ... and accept ABS coding ... if I change enough parts!
I just took the car to Indiana on an 800 mile round trip ... it ran great and got 35 MPG (actual) on regular gas! I set the cruise control to 65 mph, had the A/C on low, and cruised on down the highway! It didn't use any fluids, but after about 200 or so miles I still got the P2279 code ... I'll still have to fix that.

I do not think you can run Jetta ABS module in Passat ,Jetta ABS module software was made only for Jetta/Gold , never for Passat, that why you will always have Incorrect coding.

Yes, the CAN Gateway is the module from which VCDS makes its initial chassis determination. That's also where the Gateway Installation List is stored, in other words this stuff at the very top of the Auto-Scan that I changed to blue in your scan a few posts up (post#74).

I SHOULD have gotten all these parts from the SAME Jetta (ah hindsight!).
But, why is the ABS not coding? ... in the VCDS scan, I don't see any other conflicts? Apparently, it doesn't "like" another component in the system ... but what? If I changed EVERYTHING within the car to Jetta ... it would "think" the Passat was a Jetta, and it should code (the HARD part would be changing the Instrument Cluster though).
And I realize that changing out the CCM would get into locking/unlocking issues.

If I changed EVERYTHING within the car to Jetta ... it would "think" the Passat was a Jetta, and it should code (the HARD part would be changing the Instrument Cluster though).
And I realize that changing out the CCM would get into locking/unlocking issues.
