Good day All new to this platform.
I have a T5 Caravelle/Transporter, 2005 2.5 TDI Manual 6 Speed i think its the 125kw
I am the second owner and know the first, no history of any electrical problems.
A couple of weeks ago it started randomly cut out when you select revers.
Other than that i do not have any problems.
So here is the process
1) Neutral Selected.
2) Start Car
3) Car Idles
4) Select revers
5) Engine stops "No Jerk so dont think its stalling" Car can not be idling and it will do the same
6) All lights on the cluster goes off except for the time and km (Trying to add picture but not sure why i cant)
7) HEX-USB+CAN Can not connect anymore.
8) Switch off ignition dont have to remove key. Start car again.
Usally car starts without problem if revers is selected before starting.
I am no motor mechanic i know my way around but no expert.
Sparky by trade.
If there is someone that can look at the allarms below and give me an idea what they think. And if possible a wireing diagram?
At this point i think its the reverse switch but need to confirm a bit better before blindly swapping stuff.
O and i have cleared the Faults and re-tested every time after it happens so i dont belive any of the allarms is non relavent.
