Needle Sweep on Audi A6 C8

Hi All,

Does anyone know if and how needle sweep can be enabled on a C8 A6 which does not have Virtual Cockpit? I cannot seem to find the various methods that others have posted (which all seem to apply to models with VC).

I cannot find any videos of anyone with a C8 but not VC with needle sweep enabled, only one of a C8 RS6 without VC, but that is of course expected behaviour on that car.

I am just wondering at this stage, I would not wish to make any changes as I have some ongoing fault investigations with the dealer/seller so will not make any changes either prior to getting their agreement, or until we have worked through the issues (which I will undoubtedly post about individually in due course I'm sure). I am just looking for answers from anyone that knows in advance.

Happy to do passive data gathering to try to show the options that I do have in long coding, adaptations etc. if needed, I just cannot test any suggestions freely right now. I don't feel that a full scan output would benefit this question in any way, but if I should include one, please do let me know.

Hi Uwe - thanks for the prompt reply. You have actually personally seen a much earlier version of my scan funnily enough, as you may recall I was emailing you for additional VIN licence support and we got onto the topic of the Ad Blue faults.

I hope you would agree that whilst this is still not perfect, we are making some decent progress compared to that original scan - I will be starting other topics explaining what's been done and seeking advice for next step suggestions for adblue, SOS battery, and MHEV battery - but anyway, here is the full scan:
