Disable annoying 'safety' features

Here in the USA, I think because of legal liability we have warning screens on certain features and locks on certain changes when in motion. Often times, when driving I want to change certain features but they are locked out while driving. I must emphasize that we are trying to do this with a passenger. So while my wife is driving I try to figure out features of the car rather than sitting with the vehicle on and the engine running to do this. However, because of those safety locks I can't. I would think the car is smart enough to figure out that there is a passenger and permit these changes but it won't.

Do you know how I can remove these locks to permit these changes with the MMI? Thank you all in advance.

I don't have high hopes that this can be done, but nobody is in a position to give you any advice without knowing exactly what car you're trying to do this in. Ideally, you would Post an Auto-Scan for context, so people can see exactly how the car is equipped and configured.

On MIB2 you can disable all "BLOCKED" adaption channels.
However Uwe is right, we require an Auto-Scan to be sure...
