could these codes be the reason why I can't reset the "service due" notification on my dash board?

Think about it; if you've set these to zero:

42 - min mileage to service
43 - max value to service
44 - max time to service

Then service will always be due!

the previous values for both channels 42 and 43 were 150. Shouldn't they have different target numbers? Ch44 was 365.

No, because NAR cars do not use "flexible" service intervals.

I put back the values for channel 42-44. Below are the values for the following channels;
2 - 0
40 - 0
41 - 0
42 - 150
43 - 150
44 -365
45 - 1
49 - 365
50 - 160
51 - 0
52 - 160
53 - 0
54 - 365
55 - 0
56 - 2818

The "service due" notification is still showing.

Sometimes you have to adjust those channels in a particular order...

What's you're instrument cluster part number? Do we have an Auto-Scan from this car somewhere?

I did am auto scan before I tried to reset the "service due" notice. I saved in the cloud.

I don't know what my instrument cluster PN is. Can I search for it using the VCDS mobile?

I can only find it if you give me the docid (which you can see if you go to View Saved Files).

Sure, access the instrument cluster and you will find it in the field labeled VAG Number.

Try putting the following values in the channels in this sequence:

50: 160
51: 365
44: 365
49: 365
45: 1
02: 0

Thanks for the help. The "service due" notice is gone.

Should I be doing this sequence everytime I changed my oil?

No, all you should have to do when you change your oil is set channel 02 to 0.

In addition, when you do your mileage based and time based inspections, you can set 53 and 55 to 0.

Is there a sequence I should follow when setting the following channels to "0", Channel 02, 53 then 55?

I think on those, it doesn't matter.
