I'm looking at the hex v2 for my Audi but specifically, I'm looking to for idle speed adaptation. Is this possible?

Unclear. Some ECUs have allow it, others do not, or require an undocumented security access before it is possible to adjust it.

The car was bought at carmax. They had what I assume is a similar product plugged into the car, had a touchscreen and was able to manipulate the idle speed but I believe only in increments of 10

How would I go about getting support on this if its possible? You've said you have a 2012 A6 3.0 which essentially is the same car. My problem is with my car is idling about 800 less than it should but still within "audi spec" however everyone is reporting their similar car is idling higher. Audi has said that my idle is at the bottom of their spec but still within spec. Any guidance would be appreciated

Ours has this in adaptation:
Code:
IDE00259-Idle RPM correction	0 /min
And I'm pretty sure I was able to modify it.
