Hi guys,

I'm wondering if VCDS is able to read out ZF gearbox adaptation values (specifically those boxes used in Audi's and VW, i.e. 6HP19, etc.). Like can you see these values in the measure blocks? I have a ZF transmission workbook, and it speaks about the 5 clutches (A, B, C, D, E), each with their "Fill Pressures" and "Quick Charge or Rapid Fill time".
Apparently these values are useful in diagnosing bad solenoids in the mechatronic unit. The workbook gives some tolerances which these values should be between.

Thanks
Mark

Not to worry,

I actually found that the ZF workbook mentions in very small text that it's measure blocks 73 to 77 for clutches A to E.

I shall now pursue a VCDS to look at these.

Assuming this is the car you're talking about, the TCU has several hundred measuring values.
