Audi A3 (8P) - N95 Airbag Fault

Got an Audi A3 (8P) with an airbag fault, I've already changed clockspring but fault still isn't clearing.

I've checked connection between clockspring and module (1K0953549AH), not sure whether this module had previously been replaced as the yellow sticker is removed.

Is there any other checks I could do.

+ full autoscan could be useful to see all vehicle data.
Approx 3 ohm resistor could be used to test wires from Airbag control module to airbag igniter.

MVB001
1 - Driver Airbag Igniter = Signal too low (when stage 1 airbag connected) / Signal too high (when stage 1 airbag disconnected)
2 - Passenger Airbag Igniter = Correct
3 - Driver Belt Tensioner Igniter = Correct
4 - Passenger Belt Tensioner Igniter= Correct

Haven't got any resistors to hand (apart from 2.2k, which didn't have any effect when connected)

If "signal too low" with airbag igniter connected, it means short circuit inside N95.
Check carefully connector at N95. I can't remember right now how connector looks like exactly for A3 8P, but a lot of airbag system connectors have a grounding spring inside - it shorts connector pins when connector disconnected, to avoid airbag deployment from static electricity. If it is mechanically broken, it can be shorted with connector connected, too.

Checked connector on the airbag when I was trialling the resistor, everything looked ok.
I'm going to see if I can try a new airbag one day next week

Is there a way of repairing the airbags themselves?

Didn't record values but I can remember stage 2 being ok and stage 1 being not ok...

Replaced airbag and cleared fault, couldn't see anything wrong with connector itself.
