After installing this update, I can't open the software. It says I need to locate the exe file. (Short cut) The file is missing in the ross-tech folder. It wasn't doing this before.
Thanks for your support

VCDS should be installed in the C:\Ross-Tech folder (the default location for the installer) and not in C:\Program Files folder (IIRC because of Windows permission issues).Installation location was done at C drive and second time I tried C drive under program files.
Windows 10 64 bit. When I initially turned on my computer today it asked me if I wanted to update VCDS. I clicked yes.
Scratching my head. Look in the folder and tell us what's there. Is VCDS.EXE the only thing missing?Windows 10 64 bit. When I initially turned on my computer today it asked me if I wanted to update VCDS. I clicked yes. After installation, that message showed. (Could locate exe.) I tried multiple times to re-install. Installed the 32 bit also. Still didn't work.
Thanks
I don't have a Windows 10 system handy at the moment, so I'm not sure this will work exactly as described, but it does work in all previous versions:There is a VCDS exe file, on the Ross tech folder.. I right click and open the icon it's says exe....when I click on it nothing happens. It doesn't launch. Most likely I have a pc problem. I'll find other alternatives. Thanks for you response
