2016 Jetta S > Rear Fog Lamp indicator on Dash.

How do I get this working? I have wired the fog light from the switch to the tail and it works. My car has a 2 connector PQ25 CECM. Do I need to connect to the CECM, then to the switch? IF so which pin to what wire? I'm assuming tail to CECM (pin?) then CECM to switch (pin?). A friend has the software and we shut off the BOWs so I don't get errors on the cluster anymore (switch to Euro LED tails.)

Please advise!

So... you got yourself a nice car with BCM Max because of xenon headlights.
I got some bad news for you... you get to take out your new wiring.

T10/10 from light switch (MQS contact) to BCM T73b/43 (MQS contact)
BCM T73a/6 (MCP2.8) to tail light AND to T32/13 cluster

Thank you. I did all the wiring today, except at my 10 pin light switch, pin 10 was already occupied. so when I went to wire it to the BCM T73b/43 I used pin 7, which was the one I originally had it set up on. Before I wired in the cluster, I checked if the light would turn on going through the BCM, and it did. I disconnected the battery again, and ran the wire from BCM T73a/6 (MCP2.8) to T32/13 cluster (just splice into the wire). The gauge indicator still doesn't illuminate. :-/ is it possible I need the cluster coded?

I can't imagine. You could have a look and see whether it has a label for it. Does your cluster have the light for a rear fog light available? Physically?

Yes, the light is there. I can see it on the Tachometer. it just doesn't light up.

fair enough. i'm not aware of any codings of the BCM. I don't know about the cluster. You could have a look with VCDS.
as far as I can see your wiring is correct. either it should be activated by CAN or by T32/13. could you have a look and see whether it will light up with in output tests in the IC?
