manual conversion help needed

hi looking for advice as really struggling with this car. Car is 2004 a4 tdi multitronic converted to manual and getting brake symbol etc still coming on when car ignition switched on as i believe parts of the car still believe its a multitronic

Engine coding looks OK.

ABS looks OK too, but see here.

Instrument Cluster thinks you still have an Auto trans. But the "Coding" for that is done in Adaptation Channel 060. What do you have in there?

i have now changed the coding of this to 1029 and no fault showing from instruments now so just the brake issue which i will continue to look into

Is the brake fluid low? After fitting the clutch hose to the reservoir?

cant get car to turn over but if i run a wire from the battery down the the solenoid i can get the starter to turn over

does the a4 tdi need to have the clutch switch wired in to start as not done this as of yet but will be doing it just now trying to get car restarted

I'm not sure whether it's true in all markets, but NAR models with manual trannies did all need to have the clutch pressed in order to start. Moreover I would expect the instrument cluster provide a "press clutch" message once it believes the car is a manual...

got it turning over the guide i was looking at for the conversion was for a b5 and the relays are slightly different
