Problem with basic settings of auto hvac on 2013 passat tdi ....

the battery was disconnected for several weeks, the auto hvac lost basic settings, a/c doesnt work, asking to do basic settings..
when i try to do basic settings it gives me an error:
for flap basic settings: error: request out of range
and same errors for compressor run in auto
and compressor run in manual...

can you tell me the channel numbers for those basic settings so i can try to do it with my other scan tool???

The HVAC control module uses the UDS/ODX protocol. There are no channel numbers.

Have you tried clearing fault codes immediately prior to running basic settings?

yes, tried clearing before basic settings, tried with ignition on enigne running, ignition on engine off. no luck

didnt have to clear the codes before doing basic settings, just had to do adaptation and change compressor run in time from `120 to 120...

Thanks for the feedback. I have confirmed by trying to run Basic Settings for "Adapt flap end stops" in a 2012 Passat using Beta 14.7.0, that the HEX-NET does not allow it while the HEX-USB+CAN does. We believe we have a fix in the works for the next update.

my bad, im not sure if i was trying it with the new version or the old one... i have 3 different computers that i use the vag with, just checked and one of them had the 14.7 not the 14.7.1 in it....
