try to remove side markers, maybe they cause this weird issue, for T52c/47 it's not error showing because this is diagram without rear fog light, but since you added one and coded it, it should be connected to left rear fog not drl ;)

I actually don't have a rear fog light. My tail lights are normal tails without fogs. I'll try messing with the side markers. I'll also attempt to post the diagram that shows the side marker connection to the wire going to pin 4 on the old 10pin connectors.

i took a closer look to your bcm coding, since you said you were looking for byte 18 i assumed you coded everything, my bad
put byte 19 to 08, that should stop drl led from switching off

Changed byte 19 to 08. No change. I was assuming that byte 18 was my issue. At this point it could be anything though.

let's try this first to check
byte 14 bit 3 on
byte 15 bit 2 on, bit 3 on, bit 7 on
byte 17 bit 2 on
byte 18 set 49, this should be ok for your case, lets hope so
byte 19 set 08
byte 24 set E4
byte 27 bit 2 on

after these if it's still not working then wiring is.....

Let me see if I can provide any info, found you via tdiforums, MKVI section.

I have Kufatec adapters, de-pinned 11 cause using pin8 from halogen (10pin) as headlight shutter cause of mid-line CECM
factory euro switch (non-auto, with rear fog)
I did not do the pin10+12 bridge, no need if you repin/adapters is correct IMO.

Set the light scheme to RoW, Byte18 to 04
I have the same options as you set as you mentioned. Added some screenshots of some other bytes.

Everything worked pretty much bang on, that simple. The rear-fog gave some slight issue but you don't have that. AFS was far more time consuming then figuring out DRL.
No changes to any CECM plug wiring (exclude rear-fog). It honestly sounds like your checking with the e-brake on? DRL will be off if engine on or off and e-brake on (i have a 6speed).

I actually disabled the e brake light kill switch. Forget which byte and bit without looking at my notes which aren't in front of me. Thanks for the help. I plan on trying out the suggestions later on today. With a one year old son my car time has been sporadic.

Some developments... I got the LED DRL to work!! The key byte is byte 19 for me. I had the car running using HEX 45 in byte 18 (the one where the LED would flash with the car running) and I kept bumping the reverse light dimming up under byte 19. When I reached a value of 13.3 the LED DRL began to flash much slower. I then settled at 13.6V for the dimming. They now remain on. I switched byte 18 back to 04 and the LED stayed on as well with the car running. I settled with HEX 04 ion byte 18 due to the lighting scheme being to my liking.

There are still three issues I want to solve:

My DRL LED shut off with regular lighting and with parking lighting. I want to get them to be on at all times just like my 2012 Golf Tech package.
My windows wont roll down except from the driver master panel
My reverse light at the LH side wont turn on. I'm thinking of splicing the LH reverse light and RH reverse light wires going to the CECM. Not sure if this will cause any issues.

Here is my current autoscan:

The single window operation sounds like a MFA problem. Look at the All doors versus Driver's door settings in the dash menu.

I think that menu path is something like Convenience > Window operation > All (rather than Driver).

The LR Rev light and RF DRL swap positions with Byte 18 and rear fog light retrofits. If the LR reverse light is out and the rear fog/reverse light wires weren't tinkered with I'm guessing HEX 04 in Byte 18 is at fault. That JSW should have been HEX 09 from the factory so you might want to test that and continue experimenting.

I went and checked and it was set on all; yet it still has issues with rolling down the windows from any position but the master at the driver seat. Thanks everyone for all the help with my issues. I appreciate it.

Ran the fog light trigger wire and the parking light trigger wire was already there.

from first page your scan of 09 bcm
old
Code:
2F380E1A802F3EC400480081700089EC48254F48535D0560E48060240040
new

2F380E1A803B3EC400C80092700089C4480404E8535D0560E48060240040
i can only recomend to return old values in order for you to try and fix windows then apply bi xenon coding ;)

So I tried returning the code back to what it was before any of my mods to fix the window issue and no luck. I also tried using 09 in byte 18 to fix the rear LH backup light issue and no luck. I captured a new auto scan but there are no faults so not worth posting.
I tried a few things to get the LED DRL to stay on with the other switch positions but no luck as well.

the only obvious thing that seems to me is side markers are messing led drl, maybe because they are 2 x 5watt t10 bulbs, they draw too much current from bcm. maybe they need to be connected elsewhere?
for the windows i have no idea, i thought that coding was issue, did you change any parts, bcm, door modules, wiring?

Removed the side marker bulbs last night. Didn't seem to affect anything. LED DRL still turn off when the switch is flipped to any other position.

Fixed my window issue. Found all 3 plugs disconnected at the doors :banghead:DOH!! Guess thats what I get for working on the car after working all day. I ended up switching my byte 19 to 86 and changing the DRL dimming setting to 125%. It seems to keep the LED's more stable. I was noticing using byte 19 set to 13.6v for the tail light dimming would cause the LED's to randomly turn off and on while driving.

My last issue is getting the LED's to stay on with regular headlights. Tried some more coding without luck. I'm sure ill figure it out some time. Also, I was wondering if anyone knows why when you set the DRL's to turn off when using the blinker it turns off the opposite DRL. I would think it would turn off the same side DRL?? seems odd to me. I read about others noticing the same thing and never heard anyone figure out if its normal or not. Could my DRL wires be swapped?
