Hi,
I had Westfalia detachable aftermarket towbar installed in a garage (not official Audi), but they failed to code all the modules in my car.
All other modules seem to be fine except the "13 - Auto Dist. Reg (J428)" module for which there are no label files in VCDS, thus it was not modified. The garage also uses VCDS.
My car is Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDI Multitronic 2013 (built 05/2012). The car has start/stop, front/rear parking aid (no cam), lane maintenance, auto trans, front wheel drive, adaptive cruise control.
The module (8K0 907 561 B) is now reporting fault (Control Module Incorrectly Coded) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane maintenance functions do not work at all.
I saw a recent thread on the same issue in this forum but it was for the older control module of Audi B8 2009 (Byte1: set bits 0 and 3, clear bit 4).
I have a newer "B" version of the module so setting these bits 0 & 3 do not work for me (value out of range error). Bit 4 already cleared by default in my module.
Any information would be appreciated to help determining the correct coding for the adaptive cruise control module, before giving up and taking the car to Audi service (which has long waiting queue at the moment)
