Hi Guys ,

I have a few issues with an Audi A3 , the 1st one I need to sort out is the windows.

I thought I'd look for advice before I start heading in the wrong direction.

The windows all work if you operate via vagcom apart from the rear drivers side (I think it's that one)

I've pasted the scan I ran after I'd cleared dtc's.

I also have a new convenience unit which is located drivers side boot if that helps, i plugged it in but no change but not sure if it needs coding ?

I have the car in the workshop so I can get any details that may help

Have You had central convenience module connected when You cleared all dtc's and rescanned? Have You a good charged battery or charger connected?
A lot of communications related errors...
P.S. Be sure to uncheck "use CAN command" next to "Clear All DTC" button. With this option checked not all old DTC's are cleared.

Looks like the immobiliser has been bypassed. No comms with address 25 and checksum fault in the ecu.
Im pretty sure that turning off the immo makes windows and the aircon stop working. FOD

Thanks for your reply Jack@European_Parts and smokey08 , starting to make some progress after this car has been parked up for a few weeks

I'm going to do another scan later and post up results

Any ideas how the immobiliser could have been bypassed , if its in the main ecu I can get that checked

And is the "No comms with address 25 and checksum fault in the ecu " the main issue

I realize this thread is older and the Immo problem shouldn't be ignored but 19 is coded for RHD when the coding strings for the doors are too small to include it:

The same applies to the rear door coding. Speaking of rear doors, +0000128 = 5-Door Chassis isn't included in the front configuration either. I would try something closer to 0000752/0000753 in the fronts for now.

46 is coded for right drive and 4 doors so I don't see any obvious conflicts there.
