Came across a Skoda Superb VCDS tweak thread here that shows the user tweaking RGB color codes for his ambient lighting. Being curious I logged into my NAR MK7 Golf Variant and recorded my color codes to be the following:
MKV7 NAR TSI MY16 Golf Variant Ambient Lighting defaults
Controller 09 - Central Electronics
16 - Security Access - enter 31347
10 - Adaptations
Int. light; 2nd generation-Rotwert Farbe 1 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Gruenwert Farbe 1 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Blauwert Farbe 1 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Rotwert Farbe 2 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Gruenwert Farbe 2 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Blauwert Farbe 2 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Rotwert Farbe 3 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Gruenwert Farbe 3 (currently 225)
Int. light; 2nd generation-Blauwert Farbe 3 (currently 225)
Now according to this website RGB 225,225,225 is #E1E1E1 AKA: white
This leads me to believe that we can indeed change our interior ambient lighting to GTI Red or R Blue (fingers crossed). I didn't change any values as I didn't want to mess around just yet, and rather post here to get input or suggestions from all.
My end goal would be to find the exact RGB codes Golf R vehicles have.
