Unable to code abs mk60 ec

I have replaced an ABS control module, and copied the old coding to the new module(same part numbers), but the coding is being accepted, then showing up as all 0s a few minutes later. I am pretty sure now, after looking at codes in old module, that long coding was incorrect to start with. Please help, if you could figure out how to get the correct coding, it would be awesome. the files for scans with old and new(used) modules are attached, as well as PR code sticker shot.

that is the scan for original module there are 2 scans listed. . have replacement used module in now, and the scan further down shows that code is not there, but still have no coding in module, and longitudinal sensor basic setting fault, for which this car has no sensor.

I see now, looking at this last scan it does show the coding, it was all 0s last time I checked it, but the incorrect coding, and longitudinal sensor faults will not go away. cannot learn a sensor that's not there. I have relearned the SAS, and Lateral sensors, everything but the longitudinal.

Ignition ON, engine ON, ABS, do at least one senzor basic settings, code the ABS, do at least another bassic settings, close controler, ignition OFF, open the door, close the door, lock the car from keyfob, wait 10 sconds, unlock the car, open the door, close the door, Start the engine, ABS should keep the codding.

OP..........

Key ON> Engine running in parking lot ready to do road test.

Step 1 Scan ABS 0x03 and clear DTC's....

Code ABS module 0x03-long coding.
Clear DTC's again.......!

Preform ADP after login for G85, G201, G251.

Then exit module leaving key on running and proceed to 0x44 Steering assist and clear DTC's!
Then ADP G85 & G200, G201, G251,

Check for all other ADP's needed if errors exist and verify completed within this ignition key cycle.

Be prepare during this DCY to take a small road test in parking lot and do figure eights.

Once done with no DTC's....... shut key off....... wait 1 minute.....
Then switch key on, and recheck status of codification service 22 and DTC's .

Hi Sean,

I checked the coding values in the scans you sent via email before noticing your thread here but the coding string you had appears to be in the factory condition:

113B600D492600FA881106E892220041B100

The original module was a SWL 0104 and the used replacement is SWL 0106 but that shouldn't cause a coding problem. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a flaky used module (most AD and AE controllers fail from that 2009 era) or a communication issue with the VIN/Cluster - but forcing Coding and all of the possible Basic Settings at it a few times per Jack's suggestion is worth a shot!

This car uses PR code UG1 (Hill hold control) so the Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (G251) should be installed and the module should run that BS group.

Thank you all. it did finally take the coding, after going and doing one more basic setting. then I had some trouble with SAS basic setting, but eventually got it, then did the SAS in the steering asist module, set the tire pressure, and now all the lights on the dash are back to normal, no warnings for now, anyways. no codes in ABS or related modules.

EXCEPTION: It may be necessary to perform this procedure (in addition to the corresponding one in the ABS itself) if the ABS coding has been lost or the ABS module has been replaced.
