I got my 15' GTI with Drivers Assist Pkg, they came with Front Assist warning only ( no auto braking ). I got mine to work as follows...

Hello,

This was already enabled on my 2015. The auto breaking definitely doesn't work. Anything else I can try? Also is there a was of enabling ACC. We already have the Bosch ACC control module in the car.

ASR you changed coding in 17 only and got AB?!?! This is impossible , AB uses ABS for braking and PA for measuring distance, IC is only for information about it.......Post full auto-scan before and after please. Thank you.

Not impossible, as I have mine working for over a year. USA spec GTI came with a very limited DAP pkg, consisting of Park Pilot and Forward collision warning (red warning icon in cluster) that comes with an ACC radar sensor in the front bumper (but it does not have ACC). In the US Autonomous Braking was not enabled in 2015 model year, I had to do was to check the box in VCDS to make it work. My ABS controller only supports auto brake but not ACC...

My ABS controller PN. 3Q0 907 379 P (which won't work with ACC) the ABS controller for ACC ends in AB.

This is how it works on mine,

1. red warning in cluster display and audible warning
2. quick brake jolt
3. full autobrake

most of the time you will only get the graphical and audible warning,depending on the situation, autobrake works if an impending collision is calculated by the car's systems.
