I just received a new 2017 Audi Q7 4M with Prestige Package and has the following options 21'' Rims, Drivers Assistance, Adaptive Chassis, Cold Weather, Towing Packages, Rear Seat Entertainment Preparation, Rear Side Airbags and Night Vision Assistant. Seat Symmetry:

I have memory seats, just on the drivers side.

Anyone who tries this code respond if it works - I used another program to do it and compared the long coding afterwards to reveal two bits changed in two modules

Under Vehicle Settings - Seats - Front Passengers Seat you'll now see Adjust Seat Position, when clicked your driver seat controls will move passenger seat. There will also be an option to Align / Drivers Seat you press and hold the Set Now button and it begins to align passenger seat to drivers seat.

Anyone?

I dont have the car here so I haven't checked but maybe it is in the adaptation list in 09 or can I be so lucky that we can find it under long coding?

Had a quick look through Adaption Maps of 09 and 46... couldnt see anything that jumped out relating to that sadly.. might be long coding...

On my B8 S5, I enabled the display in the DIS to show what gear the car was in, which was especially helpful when needing to downshift via the steering wheel paddles. I’ve found that the coding is the same for the 2018 Q7 and wanted to pass it along to add to the other great coding shares.

a. [02 – Auto Trans]
b. [Adaptation – 10]
c. Select “Single Gear Display” from top channel drop down menu
d. “Select “D on/S on” from New Value drop down menu
e. Select “Do It!”
f. Note: You may have to select “Do It! A few times to save the change.

I think!!!!...the following could work:
Unit 09
Byte 12
Bit 6 set to 0
Bit 7 set to 1

Does anybody know if the Hex-V2 will work on these cars (2017+ Q7)? I have read some threads that VCDS only works on these cars with Hex-Net.

HEX-V2 will do the same. It is only important to have a current generation interface, such as HEX-V2 and HEX-NET.

Thanks.

I am not sure why, but the first time I hooked up the HEX-V2 it was having some sort of communication issue that was preventing it from going into most of the different portions. Second time it had no issues.

Has anybody figured out how to extend the time limit for when the car shuts down the Wifi hotspot after the car is shut off? It seems to be around 25 minutes, and I would like it to be set to around 1 hour. Its annoying when it shuts down when I am waiting in the car while my kids are in after school activities.

Also, Does anyone know if its possible to disable the Auto start/stop function from being defaulted ON every time the car is started? (using a HEX-NET on a 2017 Q7)

It is only possible to disable StartStop completely, no memory or invers possible here.
