2013 Audi Q5 HVAC diag procedures

my '13 q5 3.0 hvac blower has recently developed a very odd problem. The AC will start working, blowing cold air through the vents but over time the amount of air coming out of any of the vents slowly is reduced to almost nothing. You can hear the blower working, the compressor is working as the air coming out of vent is still cold but very little. Its not icing of the coils because if you stop the Q5 and restart the engine the blower starts working properly only to slowing lose air coming out of the vent. There are not any error codes.

Are there any diag and adaptation procedures that can be run to verify the hvac modules/compressor are operating correctly?

Is this in "Auto" mode? I'm not familiar with the HVAC controls in the Q5, but all the ones I've seen in other models give one the ability to set fan speed manually. What happens if you manually turn up the fan speed?

Yes it has an auto mode but I can change manually and the sound of the blower changes as you would expect but there is not any increase in air coming from the vent. I've also changed the location the air is supposed to blow, windshield, center vents and floor and this doesn't change where the air blows. What's odd is that when I restart the Q5 all works fine for a bit of time ( the amount of time is all over the board, sometime very quickly in under an hour it goes crazy; yesterday on a long trip it was 8 hours into a trip where the vents acted up, got off interstate worked fine for about an hour then all of a sudden it stops blowing even though the blower is running. Seems like a flap that controls where the air flows goes crazy after a period of time. Older VW/Audi's had a diag procedure to adapt the flap and I was wondering if this version of Q5 has something similar.

I did clear codes, I don't see a way to do a hard(soft) reset as there isn't a label file for the module so there isn't any information for long coding or adaptation. the older vw and audi's had a diag procedure and I was hoping that was the case.
