2000 Audi TT Change speed settings beyond Instrument Cluster coding

My 2000 Audi TT has a kph speedo but the needle and odo are measuring mph and miles respectively. The country code in the Instrument Cluster (J285) coding makes no difference when we change it from Germany to GB or anywhere else. I'm assuming there's another code somewhere which tells the car the size of the wheels to calculate the distance.

Is VCDS able to change that setting? Where would we find that in the menus?

    Thanks
    CP

Post an Auto-Scan please, so people can see exactly what instrument cluster is installed in this car.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.
