Hi Guys

In my VW Touareg 2012, the front fog lights turn on when the side markers and the light are on.

According with the VAGCOM long code helping, to disable it the bit of bite 4 of module 9 (J519) has to be zero.

I tried but does not works. It is appears this code it is not good for this module as the VAGCOM helper says.

Anyone has try this tweak in a Touareg or an Audi with the same module ?

This is the code of this module:

I have this same question. It appears no one has the anwser.
I unchecked the box that says fog lights when cornering yet they still come on.
Hass Ross Tech been locked out/blocked from making certain changes to some modules?
IMO a fog light coming on when signaling/turning is useless and does nothing but get people telling you one of your fog lamps is out.

Below is from a scan I did 7/3/19. Not sure what module 55 has to do with it. I thought module 9 had to be coded for this.

Code:
-
Address 55: Headlight Range (J745) Labels:. 7P6-907-357.clb
   Part No SW: 7P6 907 357 HW: 7L6 907 357 C
   Component: AFS-ECU H04 0110

   Left_headlamp_power_output_stage:
   Subsystem 1 - Part No SW: 4H0 941 329 HW: 4H0 941 329 Labels: 3D0-941-329.CLB
   Component: LeiMo links H02 0006
   Coding: 130000

   Right_headlamp_power_output_stage:
   Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 4H0 941 329 HW: 4H0 941 329 Labels: 3D0-941-329.CLB
   Component: LeiMo rechts H02 0006
   Coding: 130000

In addition to deactivating the bit in Unit 09, set Byte 6 in Unit 55 to Hex 00.
It might happen that the basic setting gets lost for the head lamps then. Just start the basic setting routine and quit it again using the options in Basic Settings dialog.

When I get some time I'll look into this.
As for preforming basic settings I'm guessing the instruction in the link below are what your speaking of?

http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1K)_Headlight_Aim_Control_(Xenon_with_AFS)

Maybe Golf is the wrong comparison but the procedure to confirm a lost basic setting is just to START the basic setting and then to CONFIRM (however it is translated to english) the basic setting. (both in "Basic Setting" dialog of unit 55)
