is it possible that this particular adaptation is locked or lsaved to other adaptation(s)?

Cannot see this adaptation being locked, saved or linked to other adaptations as it's not within the A/S/RS3 8V cars.

I am yet to map these to their related 03 adaptations, but here is a list of all the codes I have been able to extract and find:

Thanks for the help DjAlix, I'll give a shot to this list, much appreciated.

I noted the controller accepts any 5 digit code you enter, if it's not correct you'll be notified when you change any value, is closing the VCDS and re accessing the unit enough to reset security?

In my experience the module / VCDS will let you know if the entered code is incorrect and too many incorrect entries will lock the related module out for a period of time, which only ticks down while the ignition is on. If a code does not work for your needed adaptation, but was accepted without issue via SA, it does not count as an incorrect entery towards a lockout. Hope this all makes sense...

Right. In this module one should also be able to check the Measuring Value named "Security Access: Number of invalid keys". As a general rule, if this reaches 3, the module will no longer accept any attempts until it times out (with ignition on) and reverts to 0.

Thanks for the clarification guys, now is clear. i had a set of codes given by a friend and all the codes were accepted but i couldn't change any adaptation inside the unit anyway. i tryed few of the codes above and noted with some of them controller wasn't accepting futher entries. VCDS says time out is around 10 minutes and ign needs to stai on. it will take me a while but a huge thanks for the list!

^ ^ ^ ^^^ TommyKnocker: Don't let the Benevolent Dictator know that I suggested this, but can you get access to "the other cable" which has a security code finding facility? The process has to force-poll 100,000 candidate numbers. but all you need (besides the cable) is a good battery charger, about 12 hours of elapsed time (the process can be done in discrete "chunks-of-time") and a known security code as the seed SA. I suspect that many of the SA posted here were found using this method, but clearly the list is not complete

Here is what I believe to be a complete list (in the 00000-99999 range at least) of "standard" logins for the 8S0907379 ABS Module from a 2017 TTS Roadster S-Tronic:
01138
01295
01972
02168
02537
02727
02817
02852
02919
03431
03499
04205
04286
04490
04538
04814
05008
05869
06723
07483
09102
09318
09854
20103
40168

Unfortunately, while they all appear to be accepted in VCDS, none of them have been successful in allowing modification of the adaptation I am interested in:
IDE04645-IDE05287-Electromechanical parking brake-Automatic application

However I have posted them here in case they are of use to anyone else with this module.

I am also told there is a "engineering mode" (as explained in this thread) login of 07140 provided by a different tool set, which does allow modification.

But currently VCDS does not support this type of login in the label file for this module - so I am unable to test with VCDS. Although Dana in RT support helpfully indicated to me that support for this may possibly be being tested shortly.

Hi Stuart,

Per our e-mail conversation I tested numerous SA codes and diagnostic modes however my 2017 Alltrack (without EPB) simply refuses to accept 07140. I haven't given up on this entirely but the sunroof decided to start leaking  so I had to send her off to the local dealer. At this point I'm not sure if that's going to be a couple day spa treatment ... or a drawn out multi-week boot camp but they did identify the water entry point on Friday.

Feel free to bump this back up a little later in the month to see if we have anything additional to add.

HI,
anyone found in the meanwhile the right SA code to change XDS settings?
For sure 20103 and 40168 are not working.

Thanks
Stefano

Hmm, 20103 was confirmed in a few cases but you might be interested in checking this thread: https://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?19270

Also, make sure you didn't lock-out your module. Search for Number of invalid keys to make sure it isn't greater than 2.
