    Which version do you have? I suspect you will need an aftermarket aux/ipod solution.
    I have what I believe to be the premium 7 radio. Mine has the black buttons but it does not say "MIX" it says "SAT" on the bottom left button. So it seems its a combination of the description of the above two premium 7 radios. I will take the radio out this weekend and see whats in there.

    Any further Ideas why VCDS or my radio won't accept the 0040401 code?

    I pulled off the trim around the radio tonight. The 3.5mm jack goes nowhere.... There is no cable or anything at least in the area behind the radio. I still don't understand why the radio would not accept the coding, unless it can sense the aux input?
