Hi there,
I have just run into an issue with the wife's new car - 2016 UK Spec Polo 6C 1.2TSI.
I initially ran a scan a couple of weeks ago using VCDS 15.7.4 and all modules were found OK and have ROD files ok no problems.
On reading about the possible issues making changes on latest platform 2016 cars using the USB-HEX interface, I have installed the latest BETA 16.5.1 and updated the interface firmware (one way street, I understand) all OK.
I came to make some adaptations today and have run into an issue where I have missing ROD files for most of the modules that I need to play with and so cannot make any adaptions. I also note that the mileage was not detected, I entered it manually. I can't roll back to 15.7.4 due to the firmware update.
The only observations that I can see is that the original scan with the non BETA software shows ROD files with "VW26" quoted. The BETA scan talks about "VW25". Can you please explain what might be going on. The 2 scans are attached below...
