Hi All

I got Audi Allroad from 2002 right hand drive. Yesterday my A/C stop working and I have use my VCDS inteface (HEX+CAN) to check what is going on. Unfortunately I was not able to connect to Auto HVAC and Level control as well. Each time I do trying I have got "no response from controller" message. Interface does communicate to Engine and Transmision without any problem. I have try also to use Auto scan option where it does not see the controllers as well. Please advice guys what I'm doing wrong.

OK, I think I see the problem, at least as far as the HVAC module is concerned. I'm less confident about the Level Control. You're not going to like this, but I'm going to need you to take VCDS back out to your car and do another Auto-Scan. Just before you do it, go to [Options], set Debug Level to 8, and click [Apply]. Then immediately do the Auto-Scan. After it completes, look in the Debug sub-folder. There you should find a file named Debug-Cal.dlm. Send that to Support[at]Ross-Tech[dot]com along with a link to this thread.

Oh wait, you're not Verified. I'm not sure if they'll help you until you Get Verified.

Yep, all confirmed / verified. Moving this to Product Support.

Oh, and you've got an e-mail. Please post a fresh Auto-Scan after the calibration.

Hi Uwe

How are you ?
After interface callibration which I performed followed your instruction I can't get connection with any vehicle with CAN. We bought Audi A6 from 2007 and I can not connect it with any control unit. Previously before calibration interface work ok with CAN now when I check Port test it disply CAN is not supported.

Regards
Hubert

This type of calibration has no effect on CAN.

What firmware version is in your interface? [Options] -> [Test] will tell you this.

What version of VCDS are you using?

Per an email (between the OP and Andy in our Support team) I believe this was a Beta only FW 1.96 conflict as Uwe suspected.
