hey im having trouble coding and getting the steering angle sensor working in my passat 3c. I am a noticed so apologize if this is a stupid question.

thanks that fixed the steering angle sensor :)

The reason i think its needs coding is the fault 267264 in the steering wheel. I'm still left with this fault code and when i go into adaption it seems to be in German.

this car in Ireland comes without cruise control, so i bought from the main vw dealer the kit for retrofitting the cruise control.
I got the switches wiper, indicator and cruise control with a new cable to run to the ecu and the control unit (the slip ring). Everything seems to be working on the car but i am left with this fault code.

The bits that are on are reasonably well-documented, but the Auto-Scan doesn't tell us enough about the minutia of how this vehicle is equipped to determine what their values should be.

Adrian: I don't suppose you have a scan from when the old Steering Wheel Control Module was still installed so we can see how it was coded?

Hey gents havent been able to get at the car til today as its been away. Looking at the coding was thinking it would work without a problem as i had selected the push to talk button active in the long coding helping which is actually the mute button sorry my bad but i still have the fault code and in adaption for steering angle is in a different language which makes no sense to me as i got it from a main dealer here in Ireland.
