Good evening! Hoping somebody can help..

My 2006 A6 w/135K+ miles is making a weird noise when I make a full turn of the wheel and apply power at low speeds.
If I had to describe it, it almost sounds like the tires are rubbing or sliding across a smooth concrete surface. (like a parking garage)
However, I have to rule that out because it happens only when accelerating (low speeds <10MPH)
It happens when turning left and also turning right. So it is consistent.

Again only under power. Hub to Hub turns with no power no problems or noise.
At speed, all turns are fine. (granted they are not full turns).

I recently had all 4 shocks replaced, control arms, bushings for sway bar and tire rotation and alignment done.

I'm leaning towards the front differential exhibiting excess wear..But I don't know what steps to take to resolve?
Would replacing the front differential fluid be a place to start?
Could the alignment have been done incorrectly and causing this? (to my knowledge car did not exhibit this prior..but again alot of things were changed prior to alignment and it does have 135K miles). Tires are relatively new and exhibit no unusual wear patterns (but then again they have only 10K on them)

How can I further isolate the problem?

Thank you
Peter
