2006 Audi A4 remote programming

The remote never worked when I bought the car, Good battery, tried to program it per: https://youtu.be/o_DrT8W-_uQ no love, never accepted the key when pushing the lock button. Not sure, is this function thru the Central Control Module for Central Convenience (46)? I also scanned the 35-Centr. Locks and got an error on that block "No response from Controller!" I there also a Central Locks controller too or is it all thru the CCM?

I pulled the CCM under the carpet, checked all connections, cleaned etc, still nothing.

It's definitely all in 46; those cars don't have a 35.

So the CCM must be bad? or the remote?

Is there anyway to tell if the problem is in the remote or the CCM without buying either one new?

It looks like I may have some broken wires in the door hinge area that needs to be fixed before I can get things sorted out. I guess this is a common problem with this year car? I have a trunk switch that is not work either.

The door did have some cracked wires but nothing broken. I took the remote apart and one component on the board was loose, reattached it and the thing programmed just fine!
