Unhappy LED Tailights issue How to reset BYTE 18 to Factory Settings - MK6 Jetta GLI 2014 OEM

    Hi Guys!

Hopefully someone can indicate how to return BYTE 18 to factory settings?

Tried installing bixenon headlights and messed up BYTE 18 ...taillights on trunk work partially(the lights on the trunk do not work) only the ones on the body of the car work OK...Car came with factory LED tailights and halogen headlights.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Without an Auto-Scan to see exactly what BCM this car has and how the rest of the car is equipped, I would say the chances are slim.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

That's not an Auto-Scan, that's just a snippet from one module. Remember I said, "and how the rest of the car is equipped"....
