Skoda Fabia MY16 Power Steering fault

I have a "new" Skoda that was crashed in the front after being
registered for 10 days. Now it has been repaired incl. new front
airbags + seatbelts, otherwise it's fine but the power steering isn't
working; red steering wheel icon shining in instruments panel.
For some reason I'm not able to clear the dtc from 44: Steering Assist
(J792) as it comes straight back.

Is this a Basic setting / Adaptation question or something worse?

Hmm, since #44 has that Crash Shut-Down Activated DTC I was expecting another module in the vehicle to show fault codes. That isn't the case now but I would scan that vehicle again after a short test drive to see if any show up. If so, please post that scan and let us know if the power steering decided to work at roads speeds.

You mentioned the Airbag controller itself was replaced. Was that a brand new control module ordered by VIN and coded online via SVM?

The Airbag controller wasn't replaced just the front airbags & seatbelts. So no coding done, just cleaning the fault codes.
I took it for a spin on the road and the situation remains the same, no new codes only this "6351360 - Crash Shut-Down Activated" keeps coming up.

We did not receive the Auto-Scan with the repair history from this vehicle via email but I received the PM this afternoon. Did you send it to Support or another e-mail address?

I replied to the PM notification e-mail from Support to the only address we had on file (a portion of your first and last name @ Hotmail) with the experimental procedure.

-- Edit, I located another email address and we did receive the original scan. It was burred under 9 inquiries that arrived before it - but we did explicitly request the scans via email to help improve our documentation

I forwarded and replied-to both with the procure so you should have it at this point.
